RESCO first opened its doors for operation in 1961, initially commencing life as the engineering arm of its sister company Paul Ries & Sons before the individual successes achieved by RESCO resulted in RESCO transforming into an independent company in 1965.

RESCO has formally represented the world's leader in heavy machinery equipment manufacturer as exclusive authorized dealer in Ethiopia since the commencement of its operations in 1961. Since then RESCOs operations have grown exponentially and its product portfolio has been actively diversified to cater for the evolving Ethiopian Construction, Mining, Power and Agriculture sectors.
