Job Description:

Position:                      Customer Relationship Manager
Number required:            1
Duration:                            Permanent
Duty Station:                     Addis Ababa                                              
Reports to:                         Executive Vice President
Salary:                                 Negotiable     

Purpose of the Job
The incumbent should have a thorough knowledge of the industry and the market so as to be able to pro-actively develop and adapt sales action plans that will enable team members to grow sales in line with the company’s objectives.         
 
Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Act as the 1st level interface with the prospective customers and Lessees as well as reliable source of intelligence on the latter and on the market
  • Organize Sales Visits and establish new businesses
  • Conduct regular visits to targeted companies and clients
  • Achieve the set monthly targets
  • Target and plan sales presentations to clients
  • Maintain and improve business relations with all stakeholders
  • Continuously improvement of  oneself and team knowledge on the customer segments, industries, product lines being leased and commercial environment
  • Ensure proactive use of IPPs to promote personal development of staff
  • Ensure that the team contributes to the respective annual sales budget by proactively evaluating, targeting and capturing the business potentials in assigned regions
  • Achieve the set targets, in terms of both number and value of applications, agreements and Lessee repayment performance

Job Requirements:

Education
  • BA Degree in Business and Sales and Marketing
Experience
  • 5 years’ and more exposure in in a Financial services marketing environment
Knowledge and Technical Skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
  • Proficient in Excel and other applications
  • Mastery of financial analysis and accounting concepts
  • Thorough understanding of economic, market/commercial and legal environment
  • Reporting skills (documents & presentations)    
  • Very good Public speaking skill
  • Works well independently and under pressure 
  • Proven sales, marketing, managerial and leadership skills
  • In-depth understanding of Financial Analysis and Accounting concepts
  • Thorough understanding of economic, market/commercial and legal environment
  • Understanding of credit processes
