Job Description:

Vita is an Irish based International Development Charity organization founded in Ireland in 1989 under the original name of Refuge Trust International by Father Kevin Doheny, with blessed Mother Teresa as Patron. Vita has been legally registered in Ethiopia in 2005 under the Ministry of Justice and later re-registered under Charities and Societies Agency. Since then, Vita became operational in Ethiopia and began implementing its project in the Southern Nation Nationalities and People Regional State (SNNPR), specifically in Gamo Gofa, South Omo zone, and Segen Area Peoples zone; and Amhara National Regional State (ANRS) in South Gonder zone.

The organization is being insistently required an external technical support on its effort that has been made in identifying and documenting best practice models in the areas of food security and resilience building interventions that will be provide appropriate information for development practitioners, donors, and policy makers.

Job Requirements:

Thus, Vita seeks to engage a reputable firm or individual/s to undertake a best practice identification, assessment and documenting assignment.
Interested and qualified candidate/firms with human resources having appropriate mix of relevant qualifications including Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Rural development, Development Economics, or any other related fields of studies from recognized institutions and at least 5 years of proven professional experience in Planning, designing, management of related qualitative studies and identification & documentation of best practice model should request for the Terms of Reference (TOR) through Ermias.Guta@vita.ie and  vita2014jobs@gmail.com and submit both technical and financial proposal using similar email address within 10 working days from the date of this announcement.
