Programme Assistant – Governance

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking to hire a Programme Assistant - Governance, who supports in the formulation of Programmes/Projects/Strategies and provides effective support to management of the Unit’s programmes/projects; provides administrative support to the programmes and projects under portfolio and the Unit and works in close collaboration the Programme Associate, with Unit members and with the other units in Programmes and Operations, project teams in the CO and UNDP HQs staff for addressing programme-related issues and information delivery.

Contract type: Fixed Term Appointment (G5) - *Fixed Term Appointment is a staff contractual modality
Duration: One year (renewable).

Qualification and experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management. Business Administration, Economics or related social science disciplines.

Interested applicants must have at least 2 years of relevant project management and administrative experience in International Organization, most preferably in the UN; has knowledge of analyzing spreadsheet and database packages like pivot table and experience in handling web- based management system in the area of programme/projects.
