Associate Development Coordination Officer, Programme Communications and Advocacy

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), on behalf of the United Nations Resident coordinators Office (UN RCO), is seeking to hire on Associate Development Coordination Officer, Programme Communications and Advocacy, who will contribute to strategy advocacy and programme communications in support of the UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF); assist in partnership building and media relations; provide substantive support for digital communications and support publications and branding management.

Contract type: Fixed Term Appointment(NOB) - Fixed Term Appointment is a staff contractual modality.
Duration: One year (renewable).

Qualification and experience: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent degree) in communications, journalism, business or public administration, sustainable development, social sciences, education or related area. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Interested applicants must have a minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience In programme communications and advocacy or partnership development in the context of development cooperation or related area is required.
